She is an American economist born on August 13th 1946. From 2014 to 2018, she served as Chair of Federal Reserve and vice Chair from 2010 to 2014. Previously she was chief executive officer and president of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, business professor at University of Berkeley, California and Haas School of Business. She also served as Chair of the White House Council of Economic Advisor under President Bill Clinton.
