Who is Henry Paulson?

Henry Paulson is an American banker born on March 28, 1946. He served as 74th Secretary of the Treasury. Prior to his role in Treasury Department, he also served as chief executive officer and chairman of Goldman Sachs. Henry Paulson also served as Staff Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of Defense at Pentagon from 1970 to 1972. After that he also served as assistant to US President Richard Nixon from 1972 to 1973.

In 2011, he founded The Paulson Institute to promote a cleaner environment around the world and sustainable economic growth with an initial focus on China and United State of America. Henry Paulson is also well known because of his writing skills. “On the Brink” and “Dealing with China” are his top selling books. In “Dealing with China” Paulson describe his career and working experience with Chinas top business and political leadership. The Book is chosen by the Facebook owner the Mark Zuckerberg for the Mark Zuckerberg book club. In his book “On the Brink” he share his experience as Treasury Secretary during the great US Recession.
