Ben Bernanke acted as a chairman of the Board of Governors of the United States Federal Reserve (Fed) from 2006 till 2014. Ben Bernanke was born in 1953 in Augusta, Georgia (USA). He earned his graduate degree from Harvard University in 1975.  He completed his PhD. degree in 1979 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
