What is Indonesian rupiah in Forex Trading?

Rupiah is an official currency of Indonesia with currency code IDR and symbol Rp. The currency is issued and controlled by Bank Indonesia. The Indonesian currency was introduced in 1946 by a national hero fighting for freedom and independence. In its early years, rupiah was also used in unification with other currencies. The frequently used banknotes of Rp1,000, Rp2,000, Rp5,000, Rp10,000, Rp20,000, Rp50,000, Rp100,000 and coins of Rp100, Rp200, Rp500, Rp1,000 are generally circulation in Indonesian economy. Bank Indonesia recently introduced 7 banknotes and coins of 100, 200, 500 and 1000 rupiah featuring the national hero.
