What is German Unemployment Rate in Forex Trading?

It is strong economic indicator that measures the rate of jobless people in Germany. In January 2020, German Unemployment Rate stood at 3.2%, unchanged from last month December 2019. If current German Unemployment Rate is compared with same month of previous year, number of employed grew to 1.2% while unemployment rose to 0.7%. Measuring job seekers under age 25, youth unemployment rate edge down to 5.6% in January 2020, the lowermost on record.

There is no fix schedule for the release of German Unemployment Rate, but usually on monthly basis at 7:55 GMT by Federal Statistical Office Germany. Rose in employment is taken as positive for Euro-zone traders while rose in unemployment is taken as bearish/negative.
