German Consumer Price Index increased in February 105.60 as compared to January 105.20. The most important categories in German Consumer Price Index include electricity, water, gas, fuel and housing (32% of total weight), Transport (13%), entertainment, culture and recreations (11%) and nonalcoholic beverages and foods contribute 10%. Consumer price index also includes some various good and services (7%), appliances, lighting equipment’s, furniture and other household equipment (5%), health (5%), accommodation and restaurants (5%), footwear and clothing (5%). The remaining 7% consumer price index is composed by Education, communication, tobacco and alcoholic beverages.
