David Dodge has served his country as previous Governor of Canadian central bank. This bank was created in the year 2008.Mr. Dodge was also selected as the Governor of the Bank of Canada on first February , 2001 for 7 years tenure. In addition to that, he was also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank.

David Dodge was the Canadian national who got his bachelor’s degree (Honours) in Economics from Queen’s University. and also PhD in Economics in 1972 in Princeton University .
During his academic career he has worked as the Johns Hopkins University; Senior Fellow in the Faculty of Commerce at the University of British, Assistant Professor of Economics at Queen’s University, Associate Professor of Canadian Studies and International Economics at the School of Advanced International Studies, Columbia and Visiting Professor in the Department of Economics at Simon Fraser University. He was also served as Director of the International Economics Program of the Institute for Research on Public Policy.
David Dodge has also worked as a senior positions in the Central Mortgage and Housing Corporation, the Anti-Inflation Board, and the Department of Employment and Immigration. He has also worked at various kinds of increasingly popular positions at the department of finance including that of G-7 Deputy, Mr. Dodge was appointed Deputy Minister of Finance in 1992. In that role, he served as a member of the Bank’s Board of Directors until 1997.
David Dodge was later appointed as the Deputy Minister of Health. At that time he was served on this post as the announcement of his appointment as Governor of the Bank of Canada.
