What is Average directional index in Forex trading?

The average directional index (ADX) can be categorized as a technical analysis indicator utilized by many traders to measure the strength of a market trend. The market trend can be negative or positive for investors. The negative directional inductor is depicted by  (-DI) and the Positive Directional Indicator is depicted by a (+DI).
